TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For something this new, the breadth is broad.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Built-in algo trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to most retail traders. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The speed is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.
Pair that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. Usual conditions attached: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
